I'm thrilled to tell you all that my next small-town rural story 

A Place to Stay

​will be released in December this year with Harlequin
​and is Book #1 in my new Rangelands series.

Finding herself in Mt Maria, a remote outback town sparkling on the edge of the desert in Western Australia, Rachel Meade thinks she’s found a place to stay. But when her past catches up with her, she has to choose between running away again or staying where her heart is.

An idea of the setting in A Place to Stay

My Rangelands series will focus on a fictional, small, rural town called Mt Maria in the West Australian outback. This is the first time I've touched on life in the outback in my books and I'm really excited about this. It's a big thrill to be writing about a small town in my own backyard. Although that backyard is pretty big (like, really big).

Mt Maria is fictional, and as is usual for me, I’ve created some interesting townspeople. Some quite gregarious, others entirely gregarious, and most with great big hearts. Most – life wouldn’t be life without those argumentative types, would it? 💛

​But the focus remains the same as for my Swallow’s Fall series: love of a small-town, the people who live, love and work there, and those newcomers who step in at the most unexpected times.

 A Place to Stay is a Go, thanks to Harlequin Escape Publishing and Harlequin (Australia) MIRA and will be released in eBook and paperback December 2016.

The second and third books in the series have working titles of
A Place with Heart 
A Place to Cherish

Each will be set in Mt Maria so you'll be able to follow the lives of all the characters you meet in 
A Place to Stay.
