A signed paperback for Australian postal addressees and an eBook copy for international readers. (GIVEAWAY NOW ENDED.) Let’s cut to the chase and get to the book (released today, Friday 11 December 2015! How exciting) because I’ve read this book, and I adored it. I think you will too. Here's the cover, with the blurb, and below there's a note from author Juanita Kees, plus an excerpt to read. Home to Bindarra Creek A Bindarra Creek Romance Welcome to Bindarra Creek where life and love in a small country town has never been more challenging. Over to you, Juanita...
Excerpt from Home to Bindarra Creek by Juanita KeesAlice hung up and shivered. God damn the city boy for having such a sexy voice that it raised gooseflesh on her arms. She tossed the phone onto the yellow countertop and flicked the switch on the kettle. Coffee, that would stop her hands shaking. “Who was that, love?” Grandad Charlie walked into the kitchen, trying to mask his limp. The tough old bastard refused to use his walking stick, no matter how much she nagged him. “Mr Mega Investor himself. Have you taken your arthritis tablets?” Charlie grinned. “Now, my sweet, you go easy on him. He seems a nice young bloke.” “And how would you know? You haven’t even met him yet.” Alice dropped a teabag in Charlie’s cup and heaped a spoonful of coffee into her own. “Jake says so.” “All hail Saint Jake,” muttered Alice. Charlie laughed and drew the big cup of black tea toward him. “He didn’t even flinch when Jake held him at gunpoint with his plastic gun, or when Curly swore a blue streak.” “Give the man a medal!” She scooped two spoons of sugar into her coffee. “You won’t sleep tonight,” Charlie warned. Alice knew that. Her mirror reminded her every morning by showing her the blue-black smudges under her eyes for lack of it. She hadn’t slept a wink since the deal on the pub had been finalised and raised her bank balance by enough for a round-the-world trip five times over. Yet here she was, where she’d always been, feeling like she always had—guilty and grieving.

I enjoyed the small town setting of a previous Bindarra story, especially as I don't really know the Australian country background. Will look for this new one
